Here are a few of the most popular questions we are frequently asked:
How secure are my items once they are stored?
Your items are are very secure at our facility. Lock-It Mini Storage is a clean, secure facility. In addition, our Resident Manager is on the premises to ensure absolute security. Our storage units are surrounded by security fencing with a coded electronic gate. Each unit also has it’s own alarm.
When can I access my storage unit?
You have gate access seven days a week from 7am – 11pm.
What items are not allowed for storage?
These items cannot be stored in your storage unit:
- Food or perishable goods
- Living plants of animals
- Waste
- Illegal or stolen goods
- Cash
- Firearms or explosives
- Toxic, polluted or contaminated
- Radioactive materials
- Flammable or hazardous goods including chlorine, acid, paint, gasoline and cleaning fluids
- Illegal or stolen goods
Can I drive up to my storage unit?
Yes, our driveways allow you to park right in front of your storage unit.
Do you store RVs?
No, at this time, we do not provide outdoor RV storage.
Do your store boats?
Yes, you can store a small boat within our enclosed storage units depending on the size of your boat and the storage unit you rent. Please contact our office for more details.
Please Note: We do not provide outdoor storage for larger boats.
Do I need insurance on my items?
Yes, it is your responsibility to have all items you are storing insured. Check with your insurance company to determine whether storage contents are covered in your current home owner’s policy or whether you need to purchase separate insurance to cover this.
What form of payment do you accept?
We accept Mastercard, Visa, debit or cash. Automatic monthly credit card billing can also be arranged.
When can I move my items into storage?
Following setting up your plan and payment, you can use your storage space immediately.
